Nine Inch Nails comes to the Centre Bell on Monday, February 16th. If you've got a massive rock fan as a significant other, then this could be your surprise Valentine's Day gift! This is one of the few stops that the Peel It Back Tour has in Canada. That means that you might have to make the trip to Montreal, but it's going to be completely worth it!
The tour is promoting the TRON soundtrack. If you're a big NIN fan, you're probably already blasting these songs from the speakers in your basement! Kudos to you for that one. In any case, you're going to have a chance to see live renditions of iconic Nine Inch Nails tracks with a show that promises to be a visual masterpiece. The "Peel It Back" Tour makes its way to the great white north. Simply put, it promises to be the best rock concert of the year. There are a ton of elements that ensure that's going to be the case. You've got all of the NIN classics that you're probably hoping to hear live. Then there's the entire TRON element of the show! We don't want to give out too many spoilers here, but as you probably know, Nine Inch Nails was booked to make the entire soundtrack of the film. That means that this performance will feature some "futuristic" sounds and overall vibes.
This blend of the classic NIN tracks like "Closer" and "The Hand That Feeds" giving then way to "As Alive As You Need Me to Be" and the entire TRON soundtrack is going to be the path of the night. At this point, we don't necessarily know if the TRON-themed neon lights will be a consistent feature in the show. If you want to tip, stay off social media, and don't check the setlist from the previous performances. Make your way to the Centre Bell on Monday, February 16th, with a blank mental canvas. The floor is for people who are looking for the traditional rock show experience, shoulder to shoulder with total strangers, just letting your hair flow in the wind.
